South Beach

South Beach is the little brother to big brother SoMA (South of Market), which is just a few blocks up north. Setting foot in this smaller neighborhood, a few things stand out: the industrial chic aesthetic, trendy hangouts, stylish restaurants, and stunning waterfront views. Buildings are several feet shorter and it’s not as busy compared to SoMA − but not for long. What’s more, thousands of people are frequently drawn to South Beach thanks to places like Oracle Park Stadium. As housing, commercial spaces, and job opportunities expand further, expect even bigger things from South Beach.

 

Home prices in South Beach range from as low as $500,000 to well over $2 million. Your home options come in the form of apartments, condos, and loft-style dwellings with high ceilings and windows. Many of these residential properties were constructed in the early 2000s and 2010s. Some of the most sought-after homes have stunning views of San Francisco Bay to the east.
