Setting foot in this smaller neighborhood, a few things stand out: the industrial chic aesthetic, trendy hangouts, stylish restaurants, and stunning waterfront views. Buildings are several feet shorter and it’s not as busy compared to SoMA − but not for long. More businesses and investors are pouring resources into South Beach to further develop this area of eastern SF which has immediate access to the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. What’s more, thousands of people are frequently drawn to South Beach thanks to places like Oracle Park Stadium. As housing, commercial spaces, and job opportunities expand further, expect even bigger things from South Beach.
